The bankers quietly pushed over $30 billion into cryptocurrencies last night, then today pulled it back out, timing it against the news reports; making sure that the down moves were seen by the public with the help of the news media. Fear mongering and misinformation.
In fact, while Bloomberg was trying to show how unstable and volatile Bitcoin was, they showed a 5 year chart that showed bitcoin's spectacular and steady uptrend, but the narrative was about the five previous times bitcoin had "crashed" only to make new highs. The reporter didn't seem to realize what he had said until his comment on the chart as he closed the piece, almost as an afterthought.
The corporate news media talking heads are attempting to explain all of this away. They claim this is a "normal pullback", a "small correction". an "overdue correction", or even "short covering". NO, it is none of those. Why do you think bond yields are going up? Because bonds work inverse to price. In other words, right now there is a MASSIVE stock sell off around the world AND A BOND SELL OFF AS WELL. Any debt-based asset, including the US dollar, is collapsing. (Remember the last month's dollar weakness index numbers?) This is a systemic problem. Only the NON-DEBT based assets will survive, like some commodities and cryptocurrencies. Of course, some of you will immediately THINK gold! NO, forget that! The gold prices have been rigged by the bankers for centuries.
